Redistricting Update

The unexpectedly long redistricting process is finally over, and I'm happy to share that Donegal Cliffs remains unchanged, preserving our Bailey, Grizzell, and Coffman feeder pattern.
I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended meetings, wrote emails, completed surveys, and supported our students throughout this process. This truly was a community effort.
Over the past several months, I had the privilege of speaking with so many wonderful neighbors. I met families who raised their children here and shared encouraging stories from previous redistricting efforts. I also watched students bravely speak up for themselves, their classmates, and their community. As a mom of four young children, I couldn't be more proud of how our neighborhood came together.
Throughout this process, we kept the conversation respectful and productive. We stayed positive, supported one another, and remained focused on what was best for our students.
One of the greatest gifts to come from this experience was the opportunity to build new relationships. I not only got to know many more of our neighbors, but I also connected with HOA leaders from surrounding communities. Those relationships will continue to strengthen our corner of Dublin for years to come.
This process also reminded me of something important. School boundaries may change over time, but Donegal Cliffs will always be our neighborhood. The friendships our children build here, the families they grow up alongside, and the sense of community we've created are things no map can ever take away.
With that in mind, I'd love to start a monthly park meetup for Donegal Cliffs families, weather permitting. Nothing formal, just an opportunity for neighbors to connect while our kids play together and build lasting friendships. I hope this can become another way we continue strengthening the community we've worked so hard to build.
I'll share more details soon, but for now, thank you again for your time, your voices, and your unwavering support. I'm incredibly grateful to be part of such a caring, engaged, and supportive neighborhood!
