Dublin City Schools redistricting process and open board positions

Hi Neighbors,
I wanted to share an update that Dublin City Schools has officially restarted the redistricting process.
At this stage, there are no maps created and no boundary decisions made. The Board is beginning again with a new consultant and a renewed community input process.
Here’s what we know so far:
• The district is working with Planning NEXT as its planning consultant.
• On February 9, the Board held a retreat to outline the structure, timeline, and engagement strategy for the renewed process.
• Focus groups are being held March 2–10. Participants were randomly selected from various stakeholder lists to ensure balanced representation.
• Results from the focus groups and the community survey will be presented publicly on March 23 at 6:00 p.m.
• The Board will use that feedback to establish the guiding criteria that will shape future boundary decisions.
• Final decisions are anticipated later this fall to allow time for scheduling and planning.

Redistricting conversations can bring up strong emotions for families. My goal is to share accurate information, help ease uncertainty where possible, and encourage thoughtful, respectful dialogue while keeping our students at the center of it all.

In addition to sharing redistricting updates, I also serve as Vice President of the Donegal Cliffs HOA. Our HOA Board of Directors plays an important role in supporting our neighborhood.
